About PLB Products

PLB Products was created to address the need for a family of secure package receiving systems. It launched its first product to the public in the Fall of 2004. This first product is a patent-pending package lock box that will facilitate the receipt of packages at a household or business without the resident or business owner being there. The problem the company will solve is the many attempts a homeowner or business owner has to endure in order to receive a package as well as the nagging concern of theft from those household porches or business locations.

Further members of the product family are being designed and will be presented to the public when they are fully tested for quality, security and user-friendly capabilities.

The principals of PLB Products are Jerry Sheridan and a “silent partner.” Mr. Sheridan has over twenty-five years Business Development, Sales and Marketing experience in hardware, software and storage environments. He has achieved significant accomplishments in high technology, computer systems, peripherals, start-up and International business opportunities. Mr. Sheridan possesses expertise in building consensus in new or existing teams as well as excellent verbal and written skills. His functional capabilities include: Sales Expansion, Strategic Alliances, Vertical Marketing, Strategy Planning, Channel Development, Major Account Management, Technology Evaluation, Market Assessment and Market Research. Mr. Sheridan has successfully run his own consulting business – Biz Dev Consulting. He has either been employed at or contracted with Sun Microsystems, The Santa Cruz Operation, Unisys, Convergent Technologies, Memorex, Storage Technology, Ecrix and Dataquest/Gartner Group as well as individual inventors.

The silent partner has over twenty-five years Materials, Engineering and Sales experience in computer hardware and peripherals environments. He has focused on and made significant contributions to many companies in the high technology industry as well as technology startups. He has developed expertise in designing, manufacturing and material planning and is the inventor of the first members of the PLB Products family. He is well known within the world wide manufacturing industry for handling all aspects of manufacturing for corporations. He has founded, managed and maintained two startup companies that deal with independent sales and product distribution respectively. He has been employed with Apple Computer, Convergent Technologies, Unisys, Varian Associates, Lockheed and Solectron as well as a manufacturing representative for component suppliers.
